Access to clean cooking remains a significant global challenge, with billions of people continuing to rely on traditional fuels that adversely affect health, livelihoods, and the environment. Ethanol has emerged as a promising clean cooking fuel, offering a safe, clean-burning, and scalable solution that can complement ongoing efforts to expand access to modern energy while reducing emissions and improving public health outcomes.
As a multi-stakeholder initiative comprising 34 countries and 14 international organizations, the Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA) is committed to promoting sustainable biofuels as a key pillar of the global energy transition. Through this webinar, the GBA aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and showcase global experiences in leveraging ethanol for clean cooking applications.
